The PAC GDX technical support team is here to support you! We will be recommending best practices to follow during this uncertain time in order to make sure your access control systems are working effectively to protect buildings that may be closed temporarily due to COVID-19.

This is the first in a series of blogs we would like to share with you on the subject of the ‘Extended Closure’.

No. 1: Ensure backup batteries are in good condition and charging effectively. Reach out to your local installer company should you need support.

No 2: Ensure your scheduled weekly database backup is in effect, and that the database is backing up successfully to the chosen directory.

No 3: Ensure all controllers are loaded and communicating.

No 4: Make sure all relevant Time profiles are modified where necessary to maintain the desired behaviour of doors, readers, outputs etc.
