PAC & GDX and 3xLOGIC take up residence at CIH Housing 2019

PAC & GDX, the leading provider of access control and door entry solutions, will be exhibiting at CIH Housing 2019, which takes place on 25th-27th June at Manchester Central. PAC & GDX offer a range of security solutions for a variety of residential environments.  From a single door installation to a fully integrated internet based system, the company’s extensive portfolio provides unbeatable reliability and robust functionality.

Taking centre stage on Stand F7 will be GDX7 – a next generation door entry system. The GDX7 Entrance Panel can be provided with multiple button options including braille and yellow bezels, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the Equality Act.

With an optional integrated camera, a backlight LED to provide clear visitor images in low light levels, and an inbuilt reader, GDX7 has an incredibly high level of functionality. GDX7 Entrance Panels have been approved by Secured by Design – a police service initiative that aims to improve the security of buildings.

There’s no doubt that the cloud has been a game changer in the access control sector. The PAC Residential Cloud solution leads the way in allowing organisations to remotely manage and monitor their access control systems in a secure, modern and cloud based environment. Users can address technical issues, deal with key fob management, view status, set and unset a system, and gain access to an event log more easily than ever before. For instance, if someone loses a key fob, their information can be accessed and an authorisation check carried out. They can then be let into their abode and, if necessary, the missing device can be deactivated.

Following its recent highly successful launch into the European market, security products from 3xLOGIC are now available through the PAC channel and 3xLOGIC’s infinias access control solution will be making its debut at CIH Housing.

Available in four versions – Cloud, Essentials, Professional and Corporate – each is tailored to specific end user requirements. Configuration is carried out through an automated, cloud based programming tool, creating an easy to manage, simple to install and scalable solution that will meet an organisation’s changing needs. Integrating infinias with surveillance hardware also offers a cost effective way to automatically link video with access control events and alarms.

PAC & GDX has proved popular within housing associations and local councils, providing residents with the highest standards of security and safety. One recent example is Wolverhampton Homes, a not-for-profit organisation that was formed in 2005 and now manages and maintains over 23,500 homes on behalf of The City of Wolverhampton Council.

‘We aim to deliver excellent services to our customers by continually improving the work we do and the facilities we provide,’ stated Darren Baggs, assistant director for housing at Wolverhampton Homes. ‘There’s no doubt that PAC & GDX’s access control technology has helped improve security and allows us to respond quickly to incidents. The on-going developments and improvements PAC & GDX makes to its solutions has a big part to play in the success of our relationship, but so too does the level of help, advice, service and support we continue to receive.’

Gary Rowden, VP Commercial Sales at PAC & GDX, commented, ‘Driven by constant innovation, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products, our customer service and the technical support that we give to our customers. CIH Housing 2019 will provide an excellent platform for us to highlight our credentials within the residential sector and I’m looking forward to welcoming visitors to Stand F7, where our team of experts will be available to talk through the features and benefits of our solutions.’
