Access Central™ is a powerful software management platform designed to support commercial and educational sectors with access control and building management features and capabilities dedicated to supporting a wide range of security applications from a single premises to a large multi-site commercial or educational environment.


Access Control Management

At the heart of Access Central™ is the configuration and management of the PAC on-site electronic Access Control system including:

  • Keyholder management for adding, modifying and deleting Keyholder’s ID Devices.
  • Access Groups for easy allocation of keyholders to access privileges.
  • Door Mode Profiles for flexibility on how and when doors can be unlocked.
  • Area management and additional access control functionality such as anti-passback policies.

Simple Building Management

Access Central™ enables easy expansion into more feature rich building controls that support enhanced security and people safety policies including:

  • Fully featured Lift Control that offers a range of options from simple ‘Lift Call’ feature to full ‘Lift Control’ that restricts Keyholder’s to specific floors within the building.
  • 3rd party equipment monitoring.
  • Powerful Event to Action capability to drive 3rd party equipment, alarms and notifications.
  • Map viewer that supports uploading and maintaining building plans including locations of equipment and alarm points.

IT Friendly

Access Central™ is a software package that suits easy IT deployment onto Windows based servers.

Supporting multiple user access directly on the server or via a client using a web browser across the customer’s internal network.

Save hours of effort with Active Directory integration which aligns to a customers Active Directory database for simplified Keyholder records set-up and management.


Enhanced Security and Safety Features

PAC’s Event to Action capability supports a huge range of additional security features including:

  • Activation of security lockdown policies including access control of doors, security shutter deployment, audible or visible alarms, etc.
  • Proactive notification of events through configurable email or PC pop-up alerts.

Access Central™ supports safe working environment policies through features including occupancy tracking, managed entrance and anti-passback capability to ensure keyholders follow the policies.

PAC supports the ability to integrate CCTV video monitoring into the PAC Access Control system including showing live video feeds, DVR integration, event timeline search, evidence capture, event activated driving of a PTZ camera pre-set position.


Monitoring and Alarm Management

Access Central™ provides a reliable data collection source for all access control events across the PAC System that in turn support audit trails and scheduled or ad-hoc reports.

In addition, PAC enables expansion of event and alarm management to other building equipment/sensors using the PAC I/O Controllers.

Access Central™ is able to simplify an operator’s role through providing a single pane of glass for monitoring and maintaining access control as well as building and security alarms and events. Adding the CCTV viewer for integrated video surveillance means that Access Central can provide a single User Interface (UI) for operators to secure and maintain safety.

Expansion with 3rd Party Integration

Access Central™ has a number of ready-built integrations for CCTV video monitoring and Active Directory databases.

Access Central™ has a mature Application Programming Interface (API) that enables 3rd party application integration.

The PAC API supports current integrations into other applications including Time & Attendance, Visitor Management, Temperature and Mask checking systems, etc.

Type of Integration: Thermal Monitoring

Software: Dahua

Description: PAC’s long-standing tradition of security integration is now extended to the Dahua Temperature Monitoring Terminal, which has functionality to check a person’s temperature and determine if a face mask is being worn when entering a building or area. The ability to secure the building and protect the occupants is a true value add for customers planning strategies in times when minimising the risk of infection and preventing the spread of the virus are critical. The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
