Description

The GDX Next CCU is supplied with everything required to manage up to two entrance panels, all housed within a robust enclosure that is pre-wired to save valuable installation time on site. By default, the CCU supports up to eight / twelve handsets – audio, video, or hybrid using the same cable type, enabling flexible mixed installations.
Dedicated inputs and outputs are provided to allow control of the third-party access control system and door status messages to be displayed on the GDX Next Entrance Panel.

Each unit includes a 7 Amp PSU that provides power for the control equipment, entrance panels, handsets, third‑party access control interfaces, and up to 2 Amps of output available for powering door locks.
In addition, the PSU features a dedicated output for trickle charging a 7 Amp support battery, ensuring continued system operation in the event of a power failure.

The ability to secure the building and protect the occupants is a true value add for customers planning strategies in times when minimising the risk of infection and preventing the spread of the virus are critical. The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
