Comelit-PAC has worked closely with security teams on-site at a leading technology company’s European headquarters, providing advanced entrance control and communication systems to enhance access control and communication efficiency.
The company, renowned for designing, developing and selling consumer electronics, computer software and online services, has its main European headquarters in Cork, serving as a central hub for its operations in Europe and beyond.
Incorporating a main manufacturing facility, research and development centres, and administrative offices, the critical importance of security across the site protects confidential intellectual property, sensitive data, and valuable assets integral to the company’s operations.
Comelit-PAC’s advanced entrance control and communication systems play a crucial role in ensuring the security and efficiency of access management across the expansive campus. This aligns with the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Says Paul Diamond, Comelit-PAC Sales and Technical Manager for the Republic of Ireland: “We are proud to partner with such a prestigious technology company and provide them with smart security solutions for its European headquarters in Cork.
“We were able to work with the on-site security team to understand the risks and security requirements, right from the entrance of the facility through the restricted areas and create a bespoke solution to ensure seamless access management and robust security protocols.”
The installation included eight Entrance panels comprising Switch Stainless Steel to minimise installation time and modular Vandalcom high-performance security panels to enable visual verification. This is complemented with one CPS and three Audio handsets utilising ViP technology.
Additionally, 3 1468 Inter V-Lan routing interface units have been deployed to facilitate secure communications across three distinct Local Area Networks (LANs).
With an upcoming expansion planned, the system will grow to accommodate 12 entrance panels, further enhancing security and communication capabilities across the sprawling campus site.
Paul concludes: “Our collaboration with the security teams on-site demonstrates our commitment to understanding and addressing the unique security challenges faced. By leveraging our expertise in advanced entrance control and communication systems, we have tailored solutions that not only meet but exceed the stringent security requirements. And as we look towards the future, we can continue to evolve and expand our offerings to safeguard critical assets and uphold their peace of mind.”
