GDX Next 4 Door Controller

The GDX Controller provides intelligent 4-door access control within the GDX Next system, with the flexibility to be managed locally or through Housing Central. Designed for use with GDX Next Entrance Panels and Vandal Readers, it supports up to 2,000 credentials in standalone mode or up to 20,000 when cloud connected, with the ability to manage access by both door and time. Features such as OneTouch Testing and mains status monitoring help support efficient installation and ongoing system management.

GDX Next 4 Door Controller

Description

The GDX Controller is an intelligent 4door access controller designed to operate within the GDX Next ecosystem and can be managed either locally or via Housing Central, ComelitPAC’s cloudbased residential management platform. Each controller supports access control for up to four entrances, using either a GDX Entrance Panel or a Vandal Reader, and provides dedicated inputs for requesttoexit buttons, door contacts, and a voltfree 5 Amp fused relay that can be configured for powertolock or powertounlock operation.

The controller can manage up to 2,000 unique credentials when configured for standalone use, and up to 20,000 credentials when connected to Housing Central. When cloudconnected, administrators can also define tailored access permissions for each credential holder based on specific doors and time schedules.

Description: PAC’s long-standing tradition of security integration is now extended to the Dahua Temperature Monitoring Terminal, which has functionality to check a person’s temperature and determine if a face mask is being worn when entering a building or area. The ability to secure the building and protect the occupants is a true value add for customers planning strategies in times when minimising the risk of infection and preventing the spread of the virus are critical. The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
