GDX Next Panel Mount Multi-tech Reader

Designed for use with the GDX Next door entry solution, the Panel Mount Multi-tech Reader works with the GDX 4 Door Controller to provide secure and flexible access control. It reads high-security PAC OPS 13.56 MHz credentials, legacy 125 kHz credentials including GDX Indigo, and selected third-party credentials. Designed to fit a standard 40 x 40 cut-out, it is suitable for integration into many third-party entrance panels. A raised key symbol and red/green LED indication support Equality Act compliant installations.

GDX Next Panel Mount Multi-tech Reader

Description

The new high security Panel Reader from PAC has been designed to work seamlessly with the GDX 4Door Controller as part of the GDX Next intercom solution. It supports both high security PAC OPS 13.56 MHz credentials and legacy lower security 125 kHz credentials such as the GDX Indigo token, along with a wide range of other third party credentials.

The reader is designed to fit into many third party entrance panels that provide a standard 40 × 40 mm opening. It features a raised key symbol and both red and green LED indicators to support accessibility and meet the requirements of the Equality Act.

Description: PAC’s long-standing tradition of security integration is now extended to the Dahua Temperature Monitoring Terminal, which has functionality to check a person’s temperature and determine if a face mask is being worn when entering a building or area. The ability to secure the building and protect the occupants is a true value add for customers planning strategies in times when minimising the risk of infection and preventing the spread of the virus are critical. The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
