The GDX Next Entrance Expansion Unit with GDX Access Control has been designed to allow the GDX Next system to be expanded in increments of two entrance panels and two rear readers with everything required included in a robust enclosure that is pre‑wired to save valuable installation time on site.

Description

The EEUA provides a simple way to expand the GDX Next with GDX Access Control system in increments of two entrance panels and two rear readers. Supplied in a robust pre-wired enclosure with everything required included, it helps save valuable installation time on site.

Each unit includes a 7 Amp PSU that powers the control equipment, entrance panels and readers. The PSU also provides up to 2 Amps of available power for operating door locks. In addition, it features a dedicated output for trickle‑charging a 7 Amp support battery, helping ensure continued system operation in the event of a mains failure.

Description: PAC’s long-standing tradition of security integration is now extended to the Dahua Temperature Monitoring Terminal, which has functionality to check a person’s temperature and determine if a face mask is being worn when entering a building or area. The ability to secure the building and protect the occupants is a true value add for customers planning strategies in times when minimising the risk of infection and preventing the spread of the virus are critical. The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
