Description
The Audio Handset provides full duplex communication and is designed to work seamlessly with the GDX Next system. It features three buttons with raised symbols that allow the resident to grant visitor access, activate privacy mode, and use a Concierge function reserved for future system enhancements.
Each button includes a raised symbol to support residents with partial sight, and an indicator light that confirms when the functions are active or available for use.
Residents can personalise their handset by adjusting the ring volume played when a visitor calls.
The Privacy feature enables residents to select one of five available time periods: 2-, 4-, 8-, 12- hours, or constant – during which the handset will remain silent when a call is received.
A visual indicator confirms when privacy mode is active. Even when privacy is enabled, residents can still choose to accept a call, as the handset will flash to alert them that a visitor is trying to make contact.
