Description
The new GDX Next 8‑ / 12-way CCU with integrated access control supports the management of up to two entrance panels, two rear doors, and up to 2,000 access control credentials. The unit is supplied in a robust housing that is pre‑wired to significantly reduce installation time on site. By default up to eight / twelve handsets can be supported with audio, video or a hybrid of both using the same cable type, enabling flexible mixed installations.
Integrated access control is managed via the Entrance Panel when configured for standalone operation and can be upgraded easily for Housing Central, with the addition of a PAC Gateway and Modem, or using a local customer network connection if available.
Each CCU includes a 7 Amp PSU that powers the control equipment, entrance panels, handsets, and access control interfaces.
It also supplies up to 2 Amps of power for operating door locks.
Additionally, the PSU features a dedicated output for trickle‑charging a 7 Amp support battery.
When connected to Housing Central, the unit can also raise an alarm should the mains power supply fail.
