Description

The GDX Next EEU, using a third‑party access solution, has been designed to allow the GDX Next system to increase the managed entrance panels in increments of two entrance panels with everything required included in a robust enclosure. Everything is prewired to save valuable installation time on site and also includes a third‑party access control interface.

Dedicated inputs and outputs are provided to allow control of the third-party access control system and door status messages to be displayed on the GDX Next Entrance Panel.

Each unit includes a 7 Amp PSU that powers the control equipment, entrance panels and readers. The PSU also provides up to 2 Amps of available power for operating door locks. In addition, it features a dedicated output for tricklecharging a 7 Amp support battery, helping ensure continued system operation in the event of a mains failure.

The recommended means of installation ensures that access rights for individuals can be dynamically managed. Taking an output from the Dahua Thermal Monitoring Terminal into the PAC access control system will withdraw access rights for anyone who does not meet the user configured thresholds.
