The Video Handset provides full-duplex audio with 720 × 576 definition colour video of visitors and is designed to work seamlessly with the GDX Next system.
Visual call indication is provided by illuminated icons.
The unit features two buttons with raised symbols that allow the resident to grant access and a Concierge button reserved for future functionality.
Each button includes a laser etched symbol to support residents with partial sight and illuminates to indicate when the function is active or available for use.
The Privacy feature enables residents to choose from five available time periods: 2-, 4-, 8-, 12- hours, or constant – during which the handset will remain silent when a call is received.
An indicator light confirms when privacy mode is active. Even while privacy is enabled, residents may still choose to accept an incoming call, as the handset will flash to visually notify them of the visitor.
With accessibility in mind, it also includes a built-in T-Coil compatible loop and offers both timed and permanent privacy settings.
